PPF Requirements
Each family is required to complete at least 4 PPF shifts during regular meets and team social events. Each PPF shift is approximately 2-3 hours in duration. We will have 3 regular home meets, 2 away meets, and various social events. If your swimmer is attending a meet, the expectation is that you will perform at least 1 PPF shift at that meet. You may not perform more than 2 PPF shifts per meet. EVEN IF YOUR SWIMMER DOES NOT PARTICIPATE IN MEETS, YOUR FAMILY IS STILL RESPONSIBLE FOR COMPLETING THE REQUIRED NUMBER OF PPF SHIFTS.
If your swimmer qualifies for specialty meets, you must complete at least 1 PPF shift at each specialty meet. This is in addition to your regular PPF shifts. Specialty meets include - Ken Caryl Invitational, League Finals, and State.
During registration, every family will provide consent to allow the team to charge a "Parent (Non) Participation Fee" [PPF] at the end of the season if your family does not complete the required number of PPF shifts. If your family does not complete your required volunteer shifts, your credit card will be charged a $300 PPF fee. If your family completes your required volunteer shifts, no PPF fee will be collected.
